GONE

2022

Photography

Between touch and flight, there is an instant where everything is lost.

Between glass and breath, Gone is a silent farewell captured in the intimacy of the gesture. The face, partially revealed, sighs — not from lack of air, but from an excess of feeling. The hand, spread out against the scanner, becomes a barrier and a bridge, holding back a butterfly that fluctuates between the desire to leave and the urgency to stay.
In shades of gray, the absent body becomes a raw, insinuated, vulnerable presence. The depth of the layers reveals more than what is seen: it is the portrait of an instant suspended between the ephemeral and the eternal, where the skin speaks and silence flies.
