PSITHURISM
2022
Photography
(n.) the sound of wind in the trees
On the border between the visible and the ethereal, Psithurism is a silent dance captured in black and white—a visual ode to the whisper of the wind among the branches. In this series, movement emerges from stillness, as if nature itself were breathing through the lens.
The intentional dragging of the images undoes the forms and reveals the soul of the moment, making the ephemeral eternal. Each photograph is a silent score, where the branches, in their gentle turbulence, recite invisible poems. Here, the wind is not heard, but seen—and, in seeing it, it is almost heard.
